GRAPHIC DESIGNER: SBM MANAGEMENT SERVICES. 2018 - 2024

At SBM, an internationally-renowned site management company, I have been able to cater to many department’s creative projects for sites across America, South America, and Europe. In this capacity, I have been an on-call specialist for Employees in need of comprehensive presentations and marketing materials, in successful efforts to expand the reach of the company. The job evolved daily, but included the following projects:

  • Marketing campaigns, materials, photos, and presentations to promote Waste Control and in/out of office Sustainability

  • Onsite Interactivity in the form of Video segments, public maps/info-graphics and concierge service branding

  • Posters and public signage

SENIOR BRANDING / MARKETING DESIGNER: DREAMLINE SHOWER DOORS. 2015 - 2018

In an evolving position, I have had the pleasure to direct a variety of projects, including:

  • Ongoing corporate brand revitalization, for advertising and public display

  • Illustration and 3D development of digital product photos and presentations

  • Set design and illustrations shown at major marketing conventions

  • Marketing campaigns for several major wholesalers, including Home Depot, Lowes, Menards and Houzz

ADVERTISING ART DIRECTOR: PHILADELPHIA CITY PAPER. 2006 - 2014  

After a year with the company, I was promoted to Senior Designer, and eventually Advertising Art Director. Working with the sales staff, I helped win new clients with comprehensive visual campaigns and spec projects. In addition to this, my work with special issue packaging and cover illustration helped increase readership and yearly publishing awards. Some of my most important accomplishments include:

  • The opportunity to design/ illustrate over 70 original covers, including 10 award- winning illustrations

  • Creating full visual campaigns, branding, and other materials to mark the 25th and 30th anniversary issue and connected events, seen all over Philadelphia and New Jersey

  • Taking lead on the full visual identity and marketing of the paper’s sold-out 2014 CITY GUIDE event

  • Being invited to develop an ad campaign and online content for the 2007 AAN (Association of Alternative Newsweeklies) annual exhibition for the film industry in Los Angeles

  • Received honorable mention from multiple sources, including the Autumn Society and Mural Arts Program, for work done for local events

GRAPHIC DESIGNER: ORTH RODGERS & ASSOCIATES. 2001 - 2003

While a senior in high-school, I was hired as a design intern for this engineering/ city planning firm. Within a few months I was promoted to a full-time Designer, assisting and often taking lead on a variety of high-profile projects, including:

  • The ee-design of Philadelphia street signs

  • The site-map prep for the Kimmel Center construction

  • Construction proposal maps for streets, and small business centers

INDEPENDENT DESIGNER/ PHOTOGRAPHER/ ILLUSTRATOR. 2001 - 2020

In addition to my daily work, I have always sought to hone my abilities by working with a wide variety of personal clients. Some of my reputable clients include: 

  • Lord & Taylor

  • Real-estate companies like Re/Max, Prudential and Coldwell Banker

  • The Philadelphia Independent Film Festival

In addition to recognizable clients, I have had the privilege to provide illustrations and ads for successful local Philadelphia businesses and unique individuals. My personal work has helped open me up to art exhibitions, charity events and a growing list of wonderful, interesting people

ART DIRECTOR / EVENTS PLANNER: NEVER ODD OR EVEN ENTERTAINMENT. 2005 - 2008

Through writing, direction and design, I was able to increase the companies popularity with theater attendees, musicians and other artists. Over three years, we produced three (often sold out) original shows and fundraising events.
