This Weeks Cover and an extra whatever.

This week we had a profile on the "Where the Wild Things Are" book, NOT the movie (those were my instructions). I thought this would be a fine time for another photocollage. The powers that be wanted something recognizable, so I took a few photos and created my own amalgamreal life/illustrated version of...I cant remember his (its?) name. So here it is. I have also been using cardboard textures in many of illustrations lately. There's something just unsettling to me about a white background, and the subtle texture really seems to bring things together.

This was for a story about the city's budget cuts reducing the amount of school-bus routes. Simple last minute illustration. I like it enough to show it. One in a million.

Here we go, two ads and a promo onesheet for a future "How To" issue. Actually, That issue may have been cancelled, but I did the work and Im showing it. Gotta go quick, much new work to share, not alot of time to update the site. Does anyone else think we need to stretch the day to about 36 hours?
